Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Institute for Green Science at Carnegie Mellon University's beta site and its Learning Green online courses. This is NOT the final version of the site, but a preliminary demonstration of what the future site will be like. We offer it as a preview of the online features the Institute plans to deliver, and a taste of what our online curriculum will make available to students who use it.

Bear with us as you explore. You will find that many areas of the site are fully functional, but that others remain incomplete. We've done this purposely so you can see what we have in mind, and so we can gather your feedback to create a better site. Those links that aren't functional have windows that appear when your mouse rolls over them, explaining their future purpose.

We look forward to your thoughts. To provide them, please click on the feedback link at the bottom of each page of the site, or email us at feedback@GreenScienceInstitute.net.

We are especially grateful to The Heinz Endowments and the Johnson Family Foundation for their generous support of this project.
